2ST - ANTIQUE
MERIDEN 4-PIECE TEA OR COFFEE SET QUADRUPLE SILVERPLATE - This
magnificent tea or coffee set is made by This tea or Meriden Silverplate
Co., It is so marked and also marked Quadruple Plate, and numbered 1439.
They are heavyweight pieces, with elaborate designs of flowers (dogwood?)
on both sides. Overall this set is in very good condition. More description
follows:* The teapot is excellent with two minor dings that are barely noticeable. Silver is intact. It is monogrammed on the lid. Measures 7 1/2 inches height; and 9 1/2 wide; * The creamer is also excellent, with the mono under the spout. Has a minor ding that is barely visible. It measures 4 inch in height; * The large, two handled waste container has a quarter-sized dent on the lower part.. One of the handles shows a few small spots of possible silver wear through. No monogram; it measures 4 inches in height; * The sugar bowl has a couple very tiny dings, but no dents, scratches or notable marks. The handles show a few smallish spots of probable silver wear. The underlying metal is similarly colored so these spots are not major appearance flaws. No mono. It measures 3 1/2 inches in height. SOLD, thank you. |

4ST - ANTIQUE REED & BARTON SILVER PLATE CHOCOLATE POT - This is a beautiful and rare antique chocolate pot with exquisite design. It is marked Reed & Barton with number 2856. It has an elaborate flower and other designs and the shape is wonderful. It measures 5 3/4 in. from handle to spout and stands 9 1/2 in. tall. It has a nice patina. Item is in great condition. You will not find another one like this. $499 |
| 5ST - ANTIQUE MERMOD JACCARD & CO. ST. LOUIS QUADRUPLE SILVERPLATE TEA POT - This is a beautiful silverplate teapot marked at the bottom, "Mermod Jaccard & Co.St. Louis Quadruple Plate." This teapot is in excellent condition, no dings or silver missing. It has an elaborate floral design and other wonderful details on the handle and other sections of the pot. This teapot measures 8 1/2" high to the top of the lid and 9 1/2" from the spout to the handle. SOLD, thank you. |
6ST - ANTIQUE SILVERPLATED TEAPOT BY MERIDEN WITH LION HEAD MOTIF - This is a magnificent revival footed teapot by Meriden, made in the 1800s. This piece is heavily decorated with floral spray designs and lion heads. The lion heads appear on the spout, handle and legs. The four feet are paw designed. On one side is a monogram which looks like" C J W ". On the other side are the dates " 1845 - 1870 ". At the top of the cover is a unique finial above an etched deisgn that reminds me of a maltese cross. This teapot is 10 1/2" in height. There is small dent in front. The patina is irregular and should even out in a few years. It remains a very handsome tea pot with a lot of history. $99

7ST - This is a very nice and unique Pairpoint pitcher with wooden handle. It is in good condition with some scratches and light wear in spots. It measures 9" tall to the tip of the spout and about 8.5" wide
