801) LONG CLASSIC OLIVE WOOD ROSARY, CARVED- This is a new Catholic rosary which we acquired from Jerusalem. It is made of large oval olive wood beads, each one carved. Each large bead is approx. 12 by 14 mm. The necklace part of the rosary measures 35 inches. The dangling part measures 6 1/4 inches. The rosary weighs 36.5 grams. The Cross has lovely details and measures 1 by 1 3/4 inches. It is inscribed in the back: "Jerusalem." Olive wood religious items sold in Jerusalem generally come from Bethlehem. The rosary is long with large beads and could be used as a nun's rosary. $59

802) MOTHER OF PEARL ROSARY WITH TERRA (SOIL) FROM JERUSALEM. - This is a new rosary made of mother of pearl beads, each bead measures approx. 7 by 8 mm, large beads. The necklace part measures 30 inches; the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross 5 1/2 inches. The Pardon cross measures 2 by 1 1/4 inches. The Pardon crucifix dates back to Pope St. Pius X, who granted these indulgences:

Whoever carries on his person the Pardon Crucifix, may thereby gain an indulgence.

For devoutly kissing the Crucifix, an indulgence is gained.

Whoever says one of the following invocations before this crucifix may gain each time an indulgence: "Our Father who art in heaven, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." "I beg the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray to the Lord our God for me."

Whoever, habitually devout to this Crucifix, will fulfill the necessary conditions of Confession and Holy Communion, may gain a Plenary Indulgence on the following feasts: On the feasts of the Five Wounds of our Lord, the Invention of the Holy Cross, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Immaculate Conception, and the Seven Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Whoever at the moment of death, fortified with the Sacraments of the Church, or contrite of heart, in the supposition of being unable to receive them, will kiss this Crucifix and ask pardon of God for his sins, and pardon his neighbor, will gain a Plenary Indulgence.

The rosary weighs 51.8 grams. The Pardon Cross has an elaborate design in front and the back is inscribed, "Father Forgive Them," and "Behold this Heart which has so loved men." Mother of Pearl is nacre coming from a live sea shell animal. $69



 

   

803) STURDY IRISH ROSARY FROM KNOCK WITH SHAMROCK - This rosary came from Knock, Ireland, where Our Lady had appeared in August 1879. The rosary is made of round beads with a shamrock pattern. Each bead measures 6 mm. The lovely Irish St. Patrick's Cross measures approx. 2 by 1 1/5 inches. The oval Center Medal is one inch long and shows the image of Our Lady of Knock. The reverse is inscribed, "I Have Prayed for You at Knock." The rosary weighs 42.3. The necklace part measures 29 inches, and the dangling part is another 7 inches. The is a nice sturdy durable rosary for daily use. $39

 

 

 

 

   

804) WHITE ROSARY WITH RELIC OF BLESSED BROTHER ANDRE OF MONTREAL, CANADA- This is a new rosary made of large white glass beads, measuring 6 by 8 mm. The necklace part measures 26inches; the dangling part measures 7 inches. It weighs 34.3 grams. The Center Medal contains a relic of Blessed Brother Andre of Montreal. Brother Andre (Alfred Bessette) was born in 1845 and died in 1938. He was responsible for the building of the St. Joseph Oratory, and is credited for interceeding for countless miracles even in his lifetime. This is a very special rosary because of Brother Andre's relic which it contains. $59, Sold, thank you!

806) CLASSIC BLACK WOOD ROSARY WITH ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA- This rosary came from Siena, Italy, where St. Catherine of Siena lived. St. Catherine lived in the 1300s and was largely responsible for returning the papacy back from France to Rome.. The necklace part of the rosary measures 30 inches; the dangling part from the Center medal to the tip of the Cross is 6 1/2 inches. The Center Medal shows the image of St. Catherine of Siena; the back shows a spray of flowers. The oval beads have an interesting ridged pattern. The rosary weighs 15.5 grams. This is a nice sturdy black wood rosary, great for daily use. $39
807) CITRINE COLORED CRYSTAL ROSARY - The color of this rosary is absolutely lovely! The crystal beads a citrine yellow color and they have a lot of sparkle and vibrance. Each bead measures approx. 6mm. The necklace part measures 24 inches; the dangling part is 5 1/4 inches long. The Center Medal shows Catherine of Siena in front and the reverse has a flower. The Cross is classic with a handsome Corpus. It weighs 22.6 grams. This is a lovely rosary! $49

808) BLUE CRYSTAL ROSARY WITH ROMAN CATACOMBS RELIC - This is a lovely rosary made of blue crystal beads, each bead measuring 8mm. The Cross contains catacomb relic inside it. The handsome Cross measures 1 by 1 7/8 inches. The Center Medal is also very handsome, showing the Sacred Heart in front and Mary carrying Baby Jesus in the back. The Center Medal measures 1/2 by 3/4 inch. The necklace part of the rosary measures 28 iinches, and the part that dangles from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 7 1/4 inches. The rosary weighs 35.1 grams. This is a beautiful sturdy rosary great for daily use. $49

 

809) GENUINE HEMATITE ROSARY FROM JERUSALEM - The rosary is much nicer in person than the picture shows. It is made of genuine hematite beads, steel gray in color and very heavy. Each bead measures approx. 8mm in size. The necklace part measures 29 inches, and the dangling part is 51/2 inches. The Cross is almost 2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. It weighs a hefty 79.8 grams. Hematite is an iron ore that is believed to be a healing and grounding stone, strengthening the body. It is thought to reduce stress and enhance one's personal magnetism. It is also thought to increase optimism and courage and helpful in transforming negativity. $49

810) LONG HEAVY ROSARY, STURDY AND BEAUTIFUL- This is an unusual and beautiful new rosary made of oval metal beads, with the image of Mary on one side and the Crusader Cross on the other. The Ave Maria beads are silver tone; the Pater Beads are gold toned. Each bead measures approx. 8 by 10 mm. The necklace part of this lovely rosary measures 34inches, and the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Crucifix is 6 1/4 inches. The handsome Cross measures 1 3/4 by 7/8 inch and is marked "Jerusalem" in the back. The Cross has nice details in front, which are not showing in the picture. The Center Medal measures 3/4 inch and is inscribed "Jerusalem." The rosary weighs a hefty 62.1 grams. This rosary is sturdy and well made; the large beads have a nice feel to them. 811) VINTAGE GLASS ROSARY LONG, WITH LOURDES HOLY WATER- This rosary is from France. It is long with large clear glass beads, multifaceted. Each bead measures approx. 8mm. The necklace part measures 32 inches; the dangling part is 7 3/4 inches long. The Center Medal is made of brass and shows the image of Bernadette knelling in front of Mary. This Center Medal contains the Lourdes water. The Cross is big with a handsome Corpus measuring 1 1/4 by 2 1/4. The rosary weighs 42.3 grams. This is a lovely old rosary with a lot of history!
