501) RARE ANTIQUE DECO STERLING SILVER BLACK CRYSTAL ROSARY WITH UNUSUAL CROSS- This rosary looks so much better in person. It is made of sterling silver and so marked, with black crystal beads that look like Whitby or French jet. We have not tested the beads,but they are definitely highend. Everything about this rosary is highend, from the unique handsome Cross to the sterling spacers. Each bead measures approx 5-6 mm. There is one Ave Maria bead that is slightly smaller than the rest; this is barely noticeable. The necklace part measures 31 inches; the dangling part measures 6 3/4 inches. It weighs 40.1 grams. The Cross measures 1 by 1 1/2 inches. The Center Medal measures approx. 1/2 inch. This is a handsome heirloom rosary that has lasted for many years and will last for many more. $275

502) ANTIQUE DECO BLUE CRYSTAL ROSARY- This is a lovely rosary made of blue faceted crystal or glass beads. The color is much nicer in person. The metal is brass. Each oval Ave Maria bead measures 3-4mm; the Pater Beads measure 5mm and are doublecapped. The necklace part measures 23 inches; and the dangling part is 5 inches. The Cross measures 3/4by 1 1/3 inches . The rosary weighs grams 12.9 grams. The contrast between the blue beads and the golden brass is very attractive. This is a lovely antique rosary that hails from the 1930s, and is in very good condition. $49

504) VINTAGE ROSARY MADE OF JOB'S TEARS SEEDS- This is a handsome rosary made of Job's Tears seeds for beads. Each bead measures approx. 10mm. The necklace part measures 35 inches and the dangling part is 7 inches. It weighs 29.6 grams. The classic Cross measures 2 by 1 inch. The Center Medal measures 3/4 inch and shows the Sacred Heart and on the back our Lady of Carmel. It is in very good condition. $49

505) ANTIQUE FRENCH ROSARY, CORAL COLORED BEADS - This is a lovely old rosary from France. It is made of coral colored beads that seem to be bakelite or resin. The actual color of the beads is more orangey as in the traditional color of coral. Each bead measures approx. 4 mm. The necklace part measures 17 inches, and the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 4 1/2 inches. The Cross has lovely details and a handsome Corpus. The Center Medal is also lovely showing the figure of Mary holding the Child Jesus. The reverse shows a Church with a lion in front of it. There are very tiny inscriptions around, but they are so faint, I can't read them. The rosary weighs 8.8 grams. We believe this hails from the early 1900s. Sold, thank you.

506) VINTAGE CRYSTAL OR GLASS ROSARY, LONG, LARGE BEADS, PEACOCK BLUE - This is a sturdy vintage rosary with large beads. Each bead measures 5 by 10 mm. The cut of the beads is very unusual and shows up beautifully the many colors of this rosary. The dominant color is a peacock blue, and there are many undertones of blue, turquoise. The color is rich with a lot of life. The beads feel wonderful in the fingers. The necklace part measures 38 inches, and the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 6 1/2 inches. The Center Medal is large at 1 inch and shows our Ldy holding the Child Jesus. The reverse shows the image of Jesus. The Cross measures 1 1/2 by 2 1/24 inches. It weighs 45.6 grams The is a lovely, sturdy rosary that will last a long time. SOLD, thank you!

507) RARE FRENCH ROSARY, 1920s- FIRST COMMUNION ART GLASS- We acquired this rosary from France. This is a magnificent rosary made of art glass, milky white with sparkle. The art glass is very unique. Each Ave Maria measures 4 by 5 mm. The Paters are made of lovely gilt medals,with such ornate shape showing Mary on one side and Jesus on the other. This is typical of the early 1900s. The necklace part measures 24 inches; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 6 1/2 inches. The Center Medal measures 1/3 inch and shows Mary on one side and Jesus on the other. The Cross measures 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches, with an ornate design around the handsome Corpus. The metals is gilt, in very condition. It weighs 11.9 grams. This was most likely a First communion rosary; it is exquisite condition. $169

509) ANTIQUE WOOD LOURDES ROSARY WITH UNIQUE "ANGEL" SPACERS- This comes from France. It is a handsome black wood rosary with big Pater beads and unique medal spacers. The spacers show the charming image of an angel. Each oval Ave Maria bead measures 5 by 8; the round Pater Beads measure 8mm. The necklace part measures 28 inches; and the dangling part is 7 1/2 inches. The Cross measures 7/8 by 1 1/2 inches . The reverse in inscribed "Lourdes." The Center Medal measures 10mm and shows the image of Mary on one side and Our Lady and Bernadette at the Lourdes Grotto on the other. The rosary weighs grams 17.3 grams. The first Pater Bead is not fully round, as shown in the pictures; mentioned here for accuracy. We believe that this rosary hails from the late 1800s to early 1900s. While we have a couple of them in our site, these rosaries with unique spacers are in fact rare and uniquely European in design. $99

510) HEAVY WHITE GLASS ROSARY FROM JERUSALEM- This rosary is new. It is made of large heavy white glass beads. Each bead measures 8mm. The necklace part measures 27 inches; and the dangling part is 6 inches. The Cross measures 1 by 1 3/4 inches. The Center Medal shows the image of Our Lady and measures approx. 3/4 inch. The rosary weighs 57.4 grams. The large beads and the weight of the rosary feel good in the hands. Sold, thank you!
