401) ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ROSARY WITH HUGE RED BEADS LIKE GARNETS, LONG- Now and then we get antique rosaries made of old glass beads which were made to look like garnets. They are rare. It is rarer still to find huge beads, such as this one. The beads are irregular in shape, but each Ave Maria bead measures 7 mm. They have a beautiful deep red color. The necklace part measures 28 inches all around, and the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 6 5/8 inches. The rosary weighs 33.9 grams. The lovely Ave Maria Center Medal measures 34 inch; the Cross has beautiful filigree details and measures 3/4 by 1 1/2 inch. We believe this hails from the Victorian era, from the 1850s to 1900. The rosary is beautiful and it is hard to find one with large beads in such lovely condition. $285

403) ANTIQUE DECO CRYSTAL ROSARY WITH LIGHT BROWN ENAMEL - This enamel rosary comes from France and hails from the deco era or the 1920s. The faceted glass beads have a lovely unique color, not deep brown and not beige. The beads have a lot of life and the variation in color make them look interesting. Each Ave Maria bead is 4 by 6 mm, in size. The necklace part measures 23 inches all around. The dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is 5 1/2 inches. The enamel work on the Center Medal is in fine condition; the enamel work on the Cross shows wear, in particular in the lower part and in the back. This is natural for a piece this old, which has been prayed on. The Cross measures 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches. The Center medal measures 1/2 inch. The back of the Center Medal is inscribed, "G.O 19 Mae 1938." It weighs 18.6 grams. This is a beautiful authentic French deco enamel rosary. $129

404) ANTIQUE GENUINE ELEPHANT IVORY ROSARY w/ LEATHER CASE- This is a small sized antique rosary made of genuine pre-ban elephant ivory beads. Each bead is approximate 3mm. The necklace part of this rosary is 17 inches all around. The dangling part is around 5 inches. We believe this hails from the early 1900s or late 1800s. The Cross measures 2/3 by 1 1/4 inches. The Center Medal measures almost 1/2 inc. The Cross and Medal do not have anything on the backside. The rosary weighs 7.6 grams. It comes with a brown leather rosary case that measures 1 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches. The rosary and case is a lovely rare set for the serious collector. SOLD, thank you!

405) GENUINE AMETHYST ROSARY FROM JERUSALEM - This rosary is made of genuine amethyst beads, measuring approx. 6mm each. The necklace part measures 26 inches long; and the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross is another 6 inches. The rosary weighs 35.4 grams. Some beads have slight variation in color. The birthstone of February, the amethyst gemstone is said to have many powers including: dreams, healing, peace, love, spiritual upliftment, courage, psychism, protection against thieves, and happiness.

406) BLUE-GREEN CRYSTAL OR GLASS ROSARY FROM ST. ANNE DE BEAUPRE - This is a new rosary from the shrine of Sainte Anne de Beauprea in Quebec, Canada. The color is beautiful with a lot of life and sparkle. Each bead measures approx. 8mm. The Cross measures 1 3/4 by 1 inch; the back is inscribed "Ste. Anne de Beaupre"; the Center Medal shows the image of St. Anne carrying the young Mary. (St. Anne is the grandmother of Jesus!) The reverse shows the image of the church The necklace part of the rosary measures 29 inches; the dangling part from the Center medal to the tip of the Cross is 6 3/4 inches. The rosary weighs 36.6 grams. The Sanctuaire Sainte Anne in Quebec, Canada is the first pilgrimage site in Norther America. It is a site where many miracles have occurred through the intercession of this kind Grandmother of Jesus. $59.

407) ANTIQUE CARVED BONE STANHOPE ROSARY - This rosary hails from France. It is a rare stanhope rosary made of carved bone. Stanhope are very tiny viewers through which one can see an image, in this case you see two small pictures of Saint Hubert and Saint Roch. The beads are slightly irregular, but each Ave Maria bead measures 8mm, and the Pater Beads are larger at 10mm. The Cross with the Stanhope viewer measures 1 1/4 by 1 2/3 inches. The Center Medal measures shy of 1/2 inch. The rosary weighs 7.4 grams. Stanhope rosaries are rare, more so this very old one which hails from the 1920s. $155

408) BLACK & WHITE ROSARY FROM JERUSALEM - We were told that this new rosary is made from unique art glass beads. The beads feel light and each bead is two-toned, looking like black over white, so the effect is gray in the middle with black in the ends of the beads. It is very interesting. Each bead measures approx. 8 mm. The necklace part of the rosary measures 31 inches; the dangling part from the Center medal to the tip of the Cross is 6 inches. The rosary weighs 25.8 grams. The Cross is also very interesting and picks up the black and white and gold colors of the rest of the rosary. This rosary is more handsome than the picture looks. $39

409) SMALL CITRINE COLORED ROSARY and CASE - We got this small-sized Catholic rosary and lovely metal case from Venice, Italy. The necklace part of the rosary 19 inches long; and the dangling part measures 4 1/2 inches. The Cross is 1 inch by 1/2 inch. Each citrine colored glass or crystal bead is 3mm in size. The case measures 1 1/2 by 5/6 inch. It is almost 1/2 inch deep. The top of the case has a lovely image of Mary holding Jesus. This is a lovely set. $59

410) RARE 1940S VINTAGE CRYSTAL ROSARY FROM JERUSALEM - This rosary comes from Jerusalem. It is from old stock, but is new. The crystals are very interesting, something like opaline. It is luminous, milky-white in color, and glows like moonstone. The beads measure 8mm, and the Cross is also made of the same crystal. The Corpus is carved. The Cross measure 1 by 1 2/3 inches. The Center Medal is a Crusader Cross and measures 1/2 inche. The rosary weighs 31.8 grams. It's a uique and rare vintage rosary. $75
