1001) RARE ANTIQUE IRISH HORN ROSARY - This antique rosary came from Ireland. The beads are made of horn. Irish horn rosaries are not longer made and the few that are left are highly collectible. The very cattle that they got the horn from is no longer available. There is a lot of lore about Irish horn rosaries, one of them is that children made them. We do not know if this is true. The beads are irregular in shape as they were handcrafted; they average 5mm in size. The rosary part measures 24 inches, and the dangling part adds another 61/4 inches. The rosary weighs 14.3 grams. 1002) VINTAGE RED CRYSTAL DOUBLECAPPED ROSARY - This is a beautiful vintage rosary made of beautiful red crystal or glass beads that are doublecapped in bronze-colored metal. Each bead measures 8 by 10 mm. The necklace part measures 32 inches; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 7 1/2 inches. The Cross and Center Medals are silver in color. The handsome Cross measures 1 by 2 inches. The back is inscribed Roma Italy. The Center Medal measures 3/4 inch and shows the image of Mary in front and Jesus on the other side. The rosary weighs 55.7 grams; it's a nice weighty rosary with large beads that's in excellent condition. We believe this hails from the 1950s. SOLD, thank you

1003) EXQUISITE VINTAGE BLUE ROSARY - This is a beautiful vintage blue rosary. It's made of blue beads that have a bit of shine. The beads feel like glass. Each oval bead measures 5 by 8mm.. The Cross measures approx. 1 by 2 inches; it is marked "pewter" in the back.. The Cross and Center Medal have lovely decorative details. The Center Medal measures 3/4 inch and shows Mary in front and "M" with a Cross on top and a bunch of stars. The rosary weighs 23.5 grams. This is a lovely vintage rosary in as-new condition. 1004) GORGEOUS AQUAMARINE CRYSTAL DOUBLECAPPED ROSARY, LONG HEAVY- This rosary is very beautiful. It is made of very lively, sparkly aquamarine colored crystal or glass beads, each measuring 8 by 10mm. The necklace part measures a very long 35 inches. The dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 7 inches. The Cross measures 1 by 2 inches and it is marked "sterling" and "DiRoma" in the back. The Center Medals measures 2/3 inch and is unmarked; it shows the image of Mary on one side and Jesus on the other. The rosary weighs 55 grams. The rosary was acquired as vintage but it is in perfect condition, clean, sparkly, heavy, long, very comfortable in the hands. Sold, thank you.

1005b) ANTIQUE WOOD ROSARY WITH UNIQUE "ANGEL" SPACERS- This comes from France. It is a handsome black wood rosary, small-sized. Each Ave Maria bead measures 4mm. There are round medals for Pater Beads. The medals show the image of an angel thinking; the reverse shows a spray of flowers. The Pater medals measure approx. 8mm. The necklace part measures 18 inches; and the dangling part is 5 inches. The Cross measures 3/4 by 1 5/8 inches. The Center Medal shows the image of Mary on one side and Jesus on the other. The rosary weighs grams 9.9grams. We believe that this rosary hails from the late 1800s to early 1900s. While we have a couple of them in our site, these rosaries with unique spacers are in fact rare and uniquely European in design. SOLD, to a repeat client, thank you!

1006) RARE ANTIQUE 1800s FILIGREE ROSENKRANZ ROSARY - This rosary has German/Bavarian roots. The beads are all filigree and the Cross as well. Each Ave Maria bead is approx. 6 mm; and the pater Beads are 10 mm. The Cross measures approx. 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches. The beautiful Cross has a ceramic with the figure of Christ in front; and the back also has a ceramic Cross with and Eye where the head of Christ ought to be. The necklace part of the rosary measures 26 inches; the dangling part from the Center medal to the tip of the Cross is 6 1/4 inches. The rosary weighs 31.2grams.
