1) CLASSIC BROWN WOOD ROSARY WITH LOURDES WATER & ROMAN CATACOMB RELIC - $69 - This is a classic wood rosay, brown in color, with reddish highlights. The necklace part measures 30 inches long; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 7 inches. The oval beads measure 6 by 10 mm each; the silver toned wiring is double-wired for extra durability and sturdiness. The lovely Cross contains a relic from the Roman Catacombs - below the feet of Christ, in a round see-through glass container. This relic is soil from the Catacombs, and so inscribed in the reverse of the Cross "Roma, Terra Cattacumba.". The Center Medal shows Bernadette kneeling in front of Our Lady of Lourdes; the Center Medal contains the miraculous water from Lourdes - you can see the reverse in the picture, with the water contained in it. The rosary weighs 26.4 grams. The handsome Cross measures 1 by 1 3/4 inches. This is a sturdy, classic rosary perfect for daily use. $69

14) 1800S ANTIQUE WHITE MILK GLASS ROSARY with large beads - This antique rosary is made of large white milk glass beads. Each bead measures approx. 8-9mm. The Cross is very handsome with lovely details not showing in the picture. It measures approx. 1 3/8 by 7/8 inch. The Center Medal is very nice; it is large and with two hearts Inscribed "J" and "M" both in the front and reverse. The Center Medal measures approx. 3/4 by 1/2 inch. This necklace part of the 23 1/2 inches. The dangling part from the medal to the end of the cross measures 5 7/8 inches. The rosary weighs a hefty 58.3 grams. This is very old antique rare rosary hailing from the 1800s that is in great condition. $350

72) SMALL CITRINE COLORED ROSARY and CASE - We got this small-sized rosary and lovely metal case from Venice, Italy. The necklace part of the rosary 19 inches long; and the dangling part measures 4 1/2 inches. The Cross is 1 inch by 1/2 inch. Each citrine colored glass or crystal bead is 3mm in size. The case measures 1 1/2 by 5/6 inch. It is almost 1/2 inch deep. The top of the case has a lovely image of Mary holding Jesus. This is a lovely set. $85

73) ANTIQUE BRASS AND MILK GLASS ROSARY WITH UNIQUE CENTER MEDAL & SPACERS - This antique rosary is more beautiful in reality than the picture shows. It is made of brass and glass beads. We think it is milk glass, and the beads are white. The oval 4 by 8 mm. The necklace part of the rosary measures 35 inches long, and the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross is 7 1/4 inches long and weighs a hefty 23.1 grams. The fittings are made of brass. There are unique spacers that have a lovely filigree design. The Cross and Ave Maria Center Medal are beautiful, with intricate designs. The Cross is heavy and is much lovelier than the picture shows. This is a hard-to-find and beautiful rosary; it is in wonderful sturdy condition. We believe this hails from the Deco era, or around 1930s. $350

75) UNUSUAL COPPER CRYSTAL ROSARY - This is a lovely rosary made of what we believe to be copper. The beads are made of crystal or glass and each one measures 6 mm. The beads have a pinkish or a light peach color. The Cross is also unusual; it measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 and has a lovely image of Mary in the center. The Center medal shows Jesus on one side the symbol M, with the Cross on top (for Mary). The necklace part measures 25 inches long; and the dangling part from the tip of the handsome Cross is 6 inches. The rosary weighs 26.5 grams. $69

2) ANTIQUE ROSARY FULLY CAPPED FILIGREE ROSARY WITH LARGE BEADS- This beautiful rosary is made of light blue glass or crystal oval beads that are fully capped. The caps have a lovely filigree design. Each large bead measures approximately 10 by 8 mm. The Center Medal is brass and has an ornate deco design showing Mary on one side and Jesus with His Sacred Heart on the other side. The large Cross is silver tone and measures 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches. The necklace part measures 25 inches, and the dangling part is 8 inches. This rosary weighs 49 grams. We estimate this rosary to come from the 1930-1950s. $189

3) RARE FRENCH JET ANTIQUE ROSARY WITH ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE - This is a a top quality rosary made of French jet beads with its original leather case. The necklace part measures 26 inches long; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 6 1/2 inches. The faceted beads measure 6-7 mm; some are slightly irregular indicating these were handcut. The Pater Beads are double-capped. The handsome Cross measures 2 by 1 1/3 inches. It is inscribed Italy, and has a lot of lovely details. The Center Medal shows Mary on one side and the monogram AM (for Ave Maria) in the reverse. The rosary weighs 31.4 grams. The leather case is the type that allows the owner to fit the Cross into a cutout so the Cross is exposed. It is very charming. This is a lovely antique rosary and case which was prayed on a lot and which has a lot of history. $295

4) ELEGANT WHITE ROSARY WITH JOHN PAUL II AND BENEDICT XVI - This rosary is much nicer in reality. It is made of what looks like mother of pearl, but is probably glass white beads, all double capped at the ends. Each bead mesures approx. 6mm. The Center Medal shows the image of Pope John Paul II and the reverse shows Benedict XVI. The reverse of the lovely Cross says "Vaticano." The necklace part measures 29 inches; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 5 3/4 inches. The rosary weighs 28 grams. Each bead measures 6 by 8mm. This lovely rosary is sturdily made and will make a lifelong memorial of that great Pope John Paul II. $49.

5) ANTIQUE 1800S JOB'S TEARS ROSARY, LONG, WITH MEDAL - This rosary is very old and we estimate it to come from the late 1800s or earlier. The beads are made of Job Tears seeds. Each bead measures approx. 10 mm. Usually Job's Tears beads are pearly white, but this one has a wooden brown color. The Cross measures 1 by 1 1/2 inches. The necklace part measures 34 inches. The dangling part measures 7 inches. There is no Center Medal; many antique rosaries do not have Center Medals. It weighs 28.6 grams. There is a medal showing Our Lady - the picture shows the back side. The lovely Cross indicates the great age of this rosary, and by itself is highly collectible. $179

6) ANTIQUE 1800S FRENCH ROSARY WITH UNIQUE MEDAL SPACERS- This antique rosary, hails from the late 1800s from France. It has the rare medal spacers which measure approx. 6 mm in diameter, and which show images of Mary. The metal fitting is brass. Each lilac colored glass bead measures 4 by 6 mm. The necklace part measures 25 inches. The dangling part measures 6 1/2 inches. There is a more modern blue enamel medal attached to it. The rosary weighs 15.5 grams. The Cross has lovely details and measures 1 by 1 1/2 inches. It is inscribed in the back: "Souvenir de N. De Lourdes." It is lovelier in person than the picture shows. $350

7) CLASSIC 1800s OR EARLIER ANTIQUE WOOD ROSARY - This is a very old rosary, made of top quality brown wood beads, measuring 6 by 8 mm. The Pater Beads are round and carved. There is one Pater Bead in the dangling part that is not round. The necklace part measures 37 inches long; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 8 1/3 inches. The Cross measures 2 by 1 inch. The Cross is very handsome and the style indicates age. The Center Medal shows Mary on one side and Jesus in the reverse. The rosary weighs 34.6 grams. The 3 Ave Maria wood beads in the dangling part are different from the other Ave Maria beads, as shown in the picture. We believe this rosary hails from the 1800s or even earlier. What makes this rosary unique are the ancient Cross and the wonderful quality of the wood beads themselves. Antique rosaries such as this one are getting harder to find. The Cross itself is rare and sometimes used alone as a pendant. This rosary has great age and really feels good in the hands. $175

10) SILVER FILIGREE AND GENUINE CORAL ROSENKRANZ ROSARY - We acquired some antique rosenkranz rosaries, which are typical of Bavaria/Southern Germany. Called Rosenkranz, these rosaries were used from the 17th to 18th century. The original condition of this one was pathetic, with broken strings and beads in a sorry state. We restored it, using the original main filigree Cross, Credo Cross, and Pater Beads with sterling silver metal and genuine handcut genuine coral beads. The main filigree Cross has a ceramic image of the Crucified Christ, with a repair.. The back shows another cross-shaped ceramic, also with a repair. The repair areas are not really noticeable and reflects the old age of this item. The main Cross measures 3 1/2 by 2 2/3 inches. There is a Credo Cross (to remind one to pray for Faith, Hope, and Charity), above the Main Cross, which measures 1 inch by 1 inch. The necklace part of the rosary measures 38inches; the dangling part is 9 inches. The coral beads are irregular in shape, some larger than others; the largest is around 15mm, and the shortest is around 10 mm. The rosary weighs a hefty 117.2 grams. This is a beautiful rosary with a lot of history. $999

11) VINTAGE ROSARY WITH GLASS BEADS- This lovely vintage rosary is made of clear glass, which measure 6mm; the Pater Beads are slightly larger and are double-capped. The necklace part measures 22 inches; the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross is 6 3/4 inches. The handsome Cross measures 2inches by 1 1/2 inches. The lovely Flaming Heart Center Medal measures 3/4 by 1 inch. The The rosary weighs 37.3 grams. $85

12) ANTIQUE DECO FRENCH ROSARY MADE OF BLUE ART GLASS WITH LEATHER CASE- This is a lovely French rosary made of lovely blue art glass. The beads are oval glass measuring approx. 9 by 6 mm. The Cross and Center Medal are made of brass. The necklace part measures 30inches; the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross 6 inches. The cross measures 1 3/4 by 1 inches. The Center Medal is around 3/4 inch at the widest point. The rosary weighs 31.4 grams. The rosary comes with its own leather case. $199

13) ANTIQUE ROSARY IN BRASS WITH FILIGREE WORK, UNIQUE SPACERS- This is such a lovely rosary, I'm sorry my picture just could not come out better. I scanned this several times, but the Cross comes out blurry. The rosary has lovely single caps on each clear glass or crystal bead. Each bead is faceted and measures approx. 8 mm. The necklace part measures 29 inches; the dangling part from the center medal to the tip of the cross 7 1/2 inches. The handsome Cross measures 2 1/4 by 1 1/2 inches and it is very elaborate with lovely details. The Corpus of the Cross is high relief, that is the body of Christ is pronounced and detailed. The Cross is heavy. The Center Medal is around 3/4 inch long, and it shows Jesus in front, and Mary holding the Child Jesus in the back. The rosary has a nice weight of 44.6 grams. The rosary also has unique and rare spacers and two tiny medals attached to it. This rosary is much nicer than the picture shows. Sold to a repeat client, thank you!

14bb) PRECIOUS FULLY CAPPED BEADS FILIGREE ROSARY - ROSE PINK - This is an old rosary that is in exceptionally fine condition. Each oval bead is fully capped and has a filigree look. The beads themselves are made of glass and have the loveliest color of rose pink with a hint of lavander. Each encased bead measures 10mm. The Cross is 2 1/3 by 1 1/4 inches. The necklace part measures 32 inches; the dangling part is 7 1/2 inches long. It weighs a hefty 51.8 grams. The lovely Center Medal has enamel work showing the Immaculate Heart of Mary or Sacred Heart of Jesus - we are not sure which. The rosary has weight and substance and will make a lasting heirloom.
