This is a large coffee table book, measuring 17 inches (width) by 13 inches
(length). It is hardbound with beautiful red and gold cloth cover. First
published in 1962, this is part of a series of books about Jose Rizal published
by the Jose Rizal National Commission to celebrate the Rizal centennial (his
birth year). This particular book collects black and white images relating to
Rizal, for eg. his family tree, map showing his birth region, the home he was
born in , the church he was baptized in, pictures of Rizal's relatives, numerous
pictures of Rizal himself, pictures of European homes Rizal had stayed in,
sketches and pictures by Rizal, etc. This book contains a comprehensive
Rizaliana photo collection and is a must-have for the collector or for the
library.
